The speech and language department provides comprehensive, evidence-based therapy services to support student communication and academic success. Certified and licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) address a wide range of communication needs through individualized and small-group sessions. In collaboration with teachers, families, and other professionals, therapists develop targeted intervention plans that integrate seamlessly with each student’s educational program, fostering confidence and effective communication skills.

Occupational Therapy

Service Details:
Our team of licensed occupational therapists supports students in developing the essential skills needed for success across all school environments. Through purposeful activities, they promote growth in self-help, fine motor, and written communication skills—such as writing, cutting, painting, and manipulating classroom tools. The team also adapts or designs equipment and recommends environmental modifications to help students participate more independently in daily routines. Working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and school staff, our occupational therapists use a combination of direct services, consultation, and assistive technology to help every student reach their fullest potential.

Counseling

Service Details:
Experienced and dedicated school counselors work to maximize student success while promoting access and equity for all learners. They foster a positive school culture where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Counselors support students in developing academic achievement strategies, managing emotions, building interpersonal skills, and planning for post-secondary opportunities. Through individual and small-group counseling, they address students’ immediate needs and provide ongoing guidance to help them reach their full potential.
School Psychology

Special Education Consultation

Service Details:
Certified special education teachers collaborate with school teams, administrators, and families to design engaging and effective learning experiences for all students. The team supports every stage of the IEP process — including goal development, progress monitoring, and collaboration during meetings — to ensure that instruction, curriculum, and materials are individualized to meet each student’s needs and promote success in the classroom.
